General Guidelines

Who can test : The kit can be used by adults of age 18 years and older, or for samples collected by adults of age 18 years and above for kids above age 2. In case you have any medical problems within your nasal cavity, then a doctor prescription is required before sample collection.

Precautions : Ensure you have not taken any nasal drops in the past 60 Minutes, before sample collection.

ICMR Advisory: Currently, Home testing by Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) is advised for immediate contacts of confirmed positive cases and symptomatic individuals having symptoms such as fever, dry cough, tiredness, loss of smell or taste. For full list refer to link below.

If Negative Result: individuals with Symptoms and identified negative by RAT should get a COVID-19 RT-PCR test done to rule out infection. In the meantime, it is recommended for such individuals to follow home isolation and treatment as a negative report on RAT may not be true negative in some cases.

If Positive Result: A positive result is to be considered as a true positive and does not require a reconfirmation by the RT-PCR test.
